Radical Citizenship: The Tutorials organized by Mary Walling Blackburn

Witness to the Belonging: Participants visiting the Island came to a 15 – 30 minute lesson in citizenship /workshop which began as they envisioned a place they belonged. Then imagined it being destroyed, they wrote and then sung an ode to keep their place safe, after vocalization and valid i.d. check, their ode was Notarized, signed and sealed as an official acknowledgment of their personal citizenship.
